We walk your land or your existing home, talk budget honestly, and figure out whether a custom home, a shop, or a shop with living quarters is the right move.
2. Design & engineering
Our design team draws the plans, our engineer stamps the structure, and you review elevations and layout before a dollar goes in the ground.
3. Permits & site prep
We submit the permit package to your city or county, coordinate septic, well and utilities, and handle excavation and the foundation.
4. We build it
Framing, roofing, siding, windows, mechanical, electrical, plumbing and finish carpentry run by our own crews and long-time trade partners — one schedule, one point of contact.
5. Walkthrough & keys
Final inspections, a punch-list walkthrough with Dennis, and we stand behind the workmanship after you move in.

Common questions
Can you build on land I already own?+
Yes — that's most of what we do. We'll look at access, drainage, septic and utilities, then tell you honestly what the site will take before you commit to a design.
Do I need my own architect and engineer?+
No. Design, architecture and structural engineering are handled in house, along with the energy calcs and the full permit submittal. If you already have plans, we're happy to build from them.
What does a custom home or shop cost?+
It depends on size, site conditions, finishes and how much site work the land needs. Estimates are free and written, so you'll see the number before anything starts.
Do you build shops with living space?+
Yes — barndominiums and shops with apartments, offices, bathrooms or mezzanines. Designing the living space in from the start keeps permitting and engineering straightforward.
How long does a custom home take?+
Design and permitting typically run several months depending on the jurisdiction, then construction follows. We'll give you a realistic schedule at the estimate rather than an optimistic one.
Is financing available?+
We offer in-house financing on qualifying projects — ask about the no-payments-for-6-months option when we meet.
