We verify four things before your badge goes live
Submit these from your dashboard and we'll review them.
Professional license (when applicable)
For licensed trades we look up the license number with Washington L&I, Oregon CCB or Idaho DOPL and confirm it is active and in the business's name. Businesses that don't require a trade license — restaurants, retailers and many service businesses — are checked against the permits or registrations their industry does require.
Proof of liability insurance
The business provides a current certificate of liability insurance and we confirm the policy has not expired.
Business registration
We confirm the business is actively registered with the Secretary of State (or equivalent) in the state it operates in.
Owner identity and phone
We confirm the owner's identity and reach the business at a working phone number before the badge is issued.
