Good to know
- A typical chip truck load is roughly 10–20 yards — it's a big pile, plan the spot.
- Chips are fresh: mostly fir limbs with needles mixed in. Let them age before using on garden beds.
- The truck needs room to back in and lift the bed — watch for low branches and wires.
- Drops depend on where crews are working that week. There's no guaranteed date.
